Propane & Gas Grills

Propane and gas grills are famous for collecting all sorts of caked on goodies over the years. The two most common problem areas and the burners and deflector shields or plates (sometimes called the flavor savers or bars). The best way to prolong the life of your burners is to keep clean deflectors. They pretty commonly rust out, but their life can be extended with regular cleaning.

If you have components like your burners, deflectors, ignitors or regulators with issues, give me a call and have me come take a look. Let’s get that grill back up and running again soon.

If you are wanting to prevent costly future repairs, have me come over for regular grill cleaning. Your backyard cookouts will thank you!

What Does a Grill Cleaning Consist Of?

Interior Wipe-Down

I’ll start by scraping away all those nasty built-up bits of food and carbon. I’ll follow that with a thorough wipe-down with a plant-based cleaner and degreaser. Everything is vacuumed up and disposed of, leaving your grill free of those nasty, bitter, burnt tidbits from all those years of pool parties and cookouts.

Exterior Wipe-Down

Chances are, you’ve got grease, and grime built up all over the exterior of your grill. Lack of cleanliness can result in a shorter life for your grill. Rust will form, paint will flake, and plastic will fade. Using a safe cleaner, I’ll get things shining as much as possible. Obviously some wear is permanent, but I’ll make sure it’s clean.

Tighten & Test

Screws loosen, and bolts wiggle free with time. As I’m performing a cleaning, I’ll keep an eye out for loose screws and bolts, and tighten anything that I can. When I’m done with the cleaning, I’ll make sure to fire the grill up for a few minutes to make sure things are running great.

Upgrade & Repair Audit

Naturally, your grill is going to go through some stuff over the years. High heat, grease, salt, and extreme weather can do a number on your grill. As I’m doing the cleaning, I’ll take note of any recommendations I have for repairs or upgrades so you can decide what is best for your grill’s future.
